After 12 years in the AI industry, Jason joined the Ontario Holstein Branch in September of 2006 as their new General Manager. Jason grew up on his family’s dairy farm south of Peterborough and attended the University of Guelph majoring in Agribusiness. Counties of Bruce, Elgin, Essex-Kent, Huron, Lambton, Middlesex, Oxford, Perth and Waterloo.
Angela has been with the Branch for over 15 years as the Field Representative for Western Ontario. Angela grew up on a Holstein Dairy farm in Eastern Ontario and attended the University of Guelph. She continues to organize successful youth events and is respected by the Holstein members. She resides in Woodstock with her husband Jamie and her two daughters.

East-Central Ontario Rep: Adrian Vander Wielen 
Counties of Grey, Dufferin, Durham, Hastings, Lennox & Addington, Northumberland, Ontario, Peterborough, Prince Edward, Simcoe, Victoria, York, Algoma, Muskoka-Parry Sound, Nipissing-Sudbury, Timiskaming-Cochrane and Thunder Bay.
Prior to joining the Branch 23 years ago, Adrian was a professor at Ridgetown College where he taught the Dairy program. Adrian’s experience as the East Central Field Rep has given the counties in his district a great resource as they plan well attended events. Adrian lives in Lindsay with his wife Megan and his four children.

Eastern Ontario Rep: Kris MacLeod 
Counties of Carleton-Russell, Dundas, Frontenac, Glengarry, Grenville-Leeds, Lanark, Prescott, Renfrew and Stormont.
Kris is a graduate of McGill University and after the dispersal of his family’s Holstein herd, Kris joined the Co-op Agri-Est as a dairy specialist. He joined the branch in 2007 and has made great headway with new members and Holstein events in Eastern Ontario. Kris recently moved to Alexandria with his girlfriend Laura.

The Ontario Holstein Field Representative is the liason between members at the Branch, Club and individual levels. They guide the Clubs on program and activity development and provide the Club Directors with training when necessary. They attempt to ensure that members understand the Association's services, policies and programs.
They assist breeders with
The Rep visits new members to assist them in setting up a record system, purchasing foundation animals and establishing a sound breeding program. They will often conduct seminars and barn meetings on topics in accordance with membership needs. The Rep also works with other industry organizations such as A.I. and Milk Recording and is often seen assisting at Official Holstein Shows.
