The 3rd Annual Dairy Sen$e kicked off yesterday with 40 keen young dairy enthusiasts from across the province descending on the University of Guelph for three days of intense learning about the business side of dairy farming. Day one consisted of a number of in-class sessions with various industry speakers while today was farm tour day. The group visited Summitholm Holsteins in Lynden and Bridgeview Farm at Brantford. Participants were able to tour the two very different operations and also participated in number of different group sessions on both farms.
