The Ontario Joint Dairy Breeds Future Leaders Scholarship was established to recognize the contribution of young people in the agricultural industry for their involvement, accomplishments and leadership achievements. Potential applicants are students who have begun to take on positions of leadership within various organizations or clubs and who have also demonstrated commitment and shown potential for future achievement.
Two scholarships, each valued at $1,000, will be awarded to applicants enrolled in a post-secondary agricultural or dairy apprenticeship program. Students must have successfully completed at least the first year of a university and/or college program and be enrolled in the following year. Applications close May 1, 2012.
