Inter-County Dairy Cattle Judging Competition
2017 Competition will be held at the Lindsay Fairgrounds on July 26th.
This judging competition, held yearly, was designed in 1989 to train 4-H’ers in the correct conformation of dairy animals, help in their decision making process and develop confidence while defending their decisions.
From this competition, four people are selected to represent Ontario at the National 4-H Dairy Judging Competition in Madison, Wisconsin, during the World Dairy Expo. This trip is all-expenses paid!
The top overall individual also has an opportunity to apply for one of two positions representing Team Canada at the European Young Breeders School. This event takes place in Belgium the first week of September each year.

Thank you to our major sponsor John Deere Canada for their contribution to this great youth event.
4-Her's from around Ontario not only had the opportunity to learn more about judging dairy cattle but were also able to make friends and compete with fellow 4-H members.
